Military Affiliated Communities at Yale

Military Affiliated Communities at Yale

The support of staff and alumni veterans at Yale is strong and consistent. Both the Yale Alumni Association (YVA) and Yale Veterans Network (YVN) have staunchly supported efforts to improve the lives of the military and veteran cohort, both on and off campus. From supporting the return of the ROTC programs to campus, to lobbying for increased financial support for students, to providing multiple opportunities for connection and community-building though social and volunteer events, the military-affiliated communities at Yale are a thriving aspect of campus life.

Yale Veterans Association

Yale Veterans Association (YVA) is a non-partisan, non-political organization comprised of members of the Yale community, including alumni, students, faculty and staff, who have served or are currently serving in the Armed Forces of the United States or its allies, and their supporters. Activities include aiding wounded veterans and veterans in need, supporting ROTC and military education programs, organizing military-related programs and activities, and fostering camaraderie among veteran communities.

YVA Mission

To leverage the strengths, talent, and dedication of our members and friends; to uplift and support fellow veterans; and to cultivate leaders for military and public service.
