What Are My Options?
There are three ways to apply as a U.S. military veteran or current service member for an undergraduate degree at Yale College. Most veterans apply to the Eli Whitney Students Program, as it is a flexible program specifically designed for nontraditional students wishing to pursue a Yale undergraduate education. Some veterans apply as a traditional first-year or transfer applicant.
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions automatically grants application fee waiver requests from candidates who are serving or have served in the U.S. military.
